Holiday Traditions: Baking with Nicola

An early wedding gift came in the mail from my friend Kevin on Tuesday. The box included a fancy cookie sheet which was just in time for baking holiday cookies with Nicola!  He must have somehow known that we scheduled this baking date out almost two weeks ago. ….sneaky, sneaky…. ;)

We went to work last night and got in a baking frenzy making traditional almond sugar cookies and snickerdoodles.  We didn’t get to the dulce de leche cookie batch so we will have to get together again next week.  :)  Oh how I love everything about the holiday season!

That top right cookie is a jumping reindeer. LOL It took us a minute to figure that out.

Into the oven the first batch goes!

Santa’s Little Helper – Tina insisted on being a part of the baking tradition.

Success…a few dozen Christmas cookies…and they smell so good!

The whole baking gang.

Merry Christmas!

The dogs make this post so darn cute! I mean the cookies and the aprons are amazing too but Tina and Rommel cracked me up :)
